Tip #1: Re-Saving JPG’s

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

How about seeing quick tips for your photos, videos or other memorabilia?  Today, I’ll start a series of weekly tips…well, hopefully weekly.

Our first tip: Re-Saving JPG’s

Meaning, don’t open a jpg image, edit it, then save it again.  Each time you save a JPG the integrity of the image is damaged.  So over time it will start to look worse with each save.  So, if you need to edit an image, open the original file, such as PSD, TIFF, Raw.  Edit, then save as JPG.
